This month, we are featuring the writings of
HARRY TURTLEDOVE
Born in 1949 in California of Romanian immigrant parents, he attended UCLA
where he studied History. He has become known as the "Master of Alternative Histories" for his
speculations on different timelines which might have happened as a result of changes in History.
His first books were published under the pen-name of "Eric Iverson" because his publisher felt that
readers would not believe his real name.
