FREDERIK POHL
Born in 1919, Pohl began writing in the late 1930s under various psuedonyms. He began publishing in his own name by 1950. He also worked as a literary agent and an editor of several magazines, including "Super Science Stories." In his younger years, he was a high school dropout
who joined the Communist Party. Pohl was married five times and had five children. He currently resides
in a suburb of Chicago.
TWO time winner of the Nebula Award:
1976 Nebula Award for Man Plus
and 1977 Nebula Award for Gateway
